Focus and Scope

The Shine Cahaya Dunia Kebidanan is a scientific, peer-reviewed journal that provides a forum for original research, scholarly works, and scientific developments in midwifery and other health-related fields. The journal focuses on the development of midwifery science, evidence-based practice, midwifery education, and the improvement of maternal, neonatal, reproductive, and women's health.

The journal covers a broad range of topics, including preconception care, antenatal care, pregnancy, labor and childbirth, postpartum and puerperium care, newborn and neonatal care, breastfeeding and lactation, family planning and contraception, reproductive health, adolescent health, and women's health.

The journal also welcomes research on maternal and neonatal health, high-risk pregnancy, maternal and neonatal emergencies, maternal nutrition, anemia in pregnancy, health promotion, disease prevention, maternal mental health, pain and anxiety management, and non-pharmacological and complementary interventions during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.

Other areas include community midwifery, family-centered care, continuity of care, midwifery education, professional development, evidence-based practice, midwifery management, patient safety, quality improvement, digital health, and innovations in midwifery services.

The Shine Cahaya Dunia Kebidanan also welcomes interdisciplinary research involving nursing, medicine, public health, nutrition, pharmacy, psychology, health technology, and other health-related professions, provided that the research is relevant to midwifery and maternal, neonatal, reproductive, or women's health.

The journal accepts original research articles, literature reviews, systematic reviews, case studies, case reports, community service reports, and other scholarly works that contribute to the advancement of midwifery science and healthcare.
